¡Hola! Welcome to the blog of Kamienna 28, where we would like to introduce you to two unique places on the map of Gdańsk.

Dolne Miasto is probably the most unique place in Gdańsk, picturesquely situated between the boulevard on the Nowa Motława River and the 17th-century fortifications on its Opływ (branch). Belonging to the Śródmieście (City Centre) district, this post-German Niederstadt, at one time also known as New Amsterdam, enchants with its historic architecture, post-industrial nature and, above all, the fantastic community of its inhabitants, whose lives could form the plot of many a book or film.
In Dolne Miasto, our company has the pleasure of completing its first project in Gdańsk – Kamienna 28.

Kamienna 28 is a boutique project that involves the revitalisation of a 19th-century oil mill, later known as the Batycki Factory. In the following posts, we would like to present the history of this unique project on a tricity scale.
We will also share our vision of preserving the cultural heritage of this post-industrial monument while ‘writing’ its new chapter by creating modern and comfortable living spaces here in the form of lofts and apartments.

In future posts, we will share progress on the construction site, interesting facts about the history of the place and report on cultural events taking place in Dolne Miasto. We invite you to follow our blog to watch how Kamienna 28 is being transformed from a forgotten relic of the past into a place bustling with life, that may soon be your new home.
