On November 29, 2024, at 6:00 PM, the unique space of the toMy café in Gdańsk’s Dolne Miasto district will host the final installment of the autumn Jazz na Dolne concert series. Zosia Bielak Squad will perform on the intimate stage this time.

Jazz na Dolne is a concert series organized by the Lena Grochowska Foundation, which revitalizes the cultural scene of the Dolne Miasto district, offering residents and tourists unique musical experiences in the historic summer residence of the former patrician family of Gdańsk, the Uphagen family. Today, the toMy social café, run by the Foundation, operates within this space.

ACCIONA is pleased to be the patron of the autumn Jazz na Dolny series organized “neighborly” – the toMy café is located near the oil mill we are revitalizing as part of the KAMIENNA 28 investment. And since CULTURE is HER, just like ACCIONA and its INVESTMENTS, we are particularly pleased to be able to support the performance of more such talented artists.

About the Concert

Zosia Bielak SQUAD is a project created to accompany the artist’s debut album, Therapy.
The band performs in various configurations, from a duo to an octet. This time, in addition to the pianist, the leader, cellist Michalina Sokołowska and vocalist Magda Kuraś will be performing. The trio’s music is highly emotional, filled with improvisation, moving vocals, and subtlety and warmth of sound. The depth of the cello’s tone and moving chants give the music an intimate feel, inviting listeners to open up to their emotions.

In addition to material from the album, the concert sponsored by ACCIONA on November 29th at the toMy café will feature songs inspired by Slavic folk melodies, as well as original songs.
